The St-Hippolyte project is part of an approach where architecture complements the landscape rather than imposing itself upon it. Discreetly nestled in the heart of a wooded environment, the residence was designed to highlight the views of the lake and to bring natural light into the heart of the living spaces.

One of the main challenges was to completely transform an existing residence while avoiding full demolition, an approach necessary to comply with site regulations. This constraint guided several design decisions and allowed for a complete reinvention of the property while preserving certain features of the existing building.

The layout has been carefully designed to meet the needs of a peaceful lifestyle for two, without compromising the ability to welcome family and friends in a friendly and comfortable environment.
